What made it more frustrating was that there didn’t seem to be any real human contact available to ask questions, just the usual online info. It wasn’t a terrible experience, but it definitely left me feeling unsure

I ordered some gear from hawkhunting.com a few months ago and I’ve had it out on a couple trips now. It’s been tossed in the back of the truck, set down in mud, bumped against some rocks, and I expected to find at least a loose stitch somewhere. I checked the seams closely after the last trip because there was dried mud packed right along one edge, but nothing had pulled apart and none of the hardware looked cracked or bent.
The only thing keeping it from 5 stars is one zipper that feels a little stiff, mostly around the same spot every time, so I’ve had to fiddle with it a bit instead of just yanking it closed. Not a huge issue, just one of those small things you notice when your hands are cold and you’re trying to pack up fast. Overall, it feels decently built and I’d probably order from them again.
